You can get it at Sephora, Ulta, Macys & Nordstrom which is where Anastasia is sold :)
But you can buy it online too!
You basically use it like a gel liner by dipping your brush in the product and apply directly the brows. I like to wipe some off on the inside of the cap first so I don’t apply too much on my brows because it can be very pigmented and intense.
I fill in them like how I would apply brow powder starting from the ends and working my way to the front so most of the product is applied towards the end of the brow to create a more gradient effect. This keeps the front of the brow more natural with not too much product on them.
Hi makeup lovers :)
My friend who i’ve followed on Tumblr & IG for quite awhile now ashleyswagner who is also a kick ass makeup artist has this really cool clothing/accessories line dedicated to all things makeup. Her items are perfect for MUA’s and makeup lovers she’s definitely nailed it. Super edgy and fun!
Check out some of the stuff she sells on her site http://shoptimela.com/ :)
These are both “long wearing” brow products meant to last through sweating, swimming, rain, etc. Perfect for spring/summer coming up!
The Anastasia Brow Pomade ($18) is definitely for those who want fierce, strong brows. The brow pomade will give you eyebrows like all the makeup artists, girls who work at MAC, etc. It goes on almost like a gel liner but then dries to more of a powder finish which I really like. Once it dries it stays put and it will be hard to blend out so you have to work rather quickly. I like to wipe some of the excess off on the lid so I don’t apply too much product on my brows for a softer look. I find the brow pomade to be a little tricky to look super natural, so if you want really natural looking brows this might not be for you. But if you want an intense brow this is for you and you work it girrrl.
The Makeup Forever Aqua Brow ($20) is a little less intense than the Brow Pomade in my opinion and goes on a little more natural. Since it’s more of a gel than a cream like the brow pomade it’s a tad more sheer and not as dramatic. This is more of a wet/gel product at first but dries on the brows more like a powder.
So if you want a more natural looking brow that lasts all day I’d recommend the Aqua Brow, if you want more intense brows that lasts all day I’d recommend the Anastasia Brow Pomade. I find both to be as long lasting as the other, the main difference is the intensity on.
